Motherhunt is a Web3 talent marketplace where scouters discover models, the community votes them to auction, and agencies bid to sign them — with every deal settled on-chain. This guide is the map: a high-level tour of every feature, with links to the deep-dive guide for each one.

The three roles

Everything on Motherhunt revolves around three kinds of participant. Most features make sense once you know which role they serve:

  • Scouters — spot talent on the street or online, submit it, and earn karma and a share of every deal they originate.
  • Models — confirm their profile, go to market, and accept the bookings agencies win.
  • Agencies — discover faces, shortlist and evaluate them, and bid to sign the talent they want.

Wallet setup

Because deals settle on-chain, scouters and agencies use a Web3 wallet for votes, bids, and account actions. Models follow the profile flow instead. The Web3 guide walks through wallets, networks, and setup for the roles that need it.

Lots and the market

A lot is a single model going to market. The market is where every published lot lives — agencies browse, filter, and shortlist faces here, while the community votes to decide which lots reach auction. To follow a lot through its whole life, from a scouter's first draft to an agency's winning bid, read the Lot workflow guide.

Reading faces

Recognising model type at a glance is the core scouting skill, and it shapes how agencies cast. The Faces guide breaks down every model type — classic, commercial, editorial, and beyond — so you know what each face is built for.

Bidding and settlement

When agencies compete for a model, they bid in a live auction or buy immediately. Once a bid wins, the deal moves into a deal room and settles on-chain. Two guides cover this end to end:

Karma and tokenomics

Motherhunt rewards the people who make the market work. Scouters earn karma — an on-chain reputation score that unlocks voting power and discounts — while the wider economy runs on the MyDaogs token. Dig into the Karma guide and the MyDaogs guide to understand reputation, staking, and revenue distribution.

For models

If you are a model, your home base is your profile. The Model profile guide covers everything you fill in to go to market — measurements, model type, experience, and the confirmations that send you live.
