Exactly one year ago, on June 10, we started building mhnt.app - a platform connecting modeling agencies and scouts on the blockchain. Today we take the first big step: opening beta testing to real users.

This is not just a test - it's an opportunity to shape the product together before the official release. And for that, we need your help.

Why Web3

We understand: Web3 apps are more complex than familiar services. Wallets, networks, transactions - all of this requires some initial learning. But the global geopolitical reality is increasingly clear: decentralized tools are not a trendy toy, but a necessity. Web3 is financial freedom and independence from intermediaries.

The service is built for international scouting, but every country has different rules for financial operations and taxation - traditional payment systems don't support the platform's desired functionality. With the Web3 approach, each participant decides how to report their income in their own jurisdiction.

mhnt.app is built on the blockchain so that agencies and scouts can work directly, without hidden fees and centralized control. We chose the Binance Smart Chain network for the main release - it has very low transaction fees. During testing we use the Sepolia Testnet, where everything is free.

Let's go through the setup process step by step.

Step 1 - Install the MetaMask Wallet

mhnt.app supports several popular wallets, but we'll walk through the most common one - MetaMask.

  • In browser: install the MetaMask extension from the official site metamask.io
  • On mobile: download the MetaMask app from the App Store or Google Play

Follow the in-app registration instructions.

Step 2 - Create a wallet and save your seed phrase

When you first launch MetaMask, it will prompt you to create a new wallet. During the process you'll receive a seed phrase - 12 or 24 words that are the only key to your funds.

⚠️ Important: Write the seed phrase on paper and keep it in a safe place. Do not save it in messengers, notes, or the cloud. No one - including the mhnt team - will ever ask you for this phrase.

Step 3 - Switch to the Sepolia Testnet

After setting up your wallet, switch from the main Ethereum network to the Sepolia Testnet - a test network where transactions use free SepoliaETH gas.

  1. Open the menu
  2. Select Networks
  3. Toggle Show test networks
  1. Return to the main wallet screen and click the network selector dropdown
  2. Go to the Custom tab and select Sepolia

Step 4 - Get free test ETH

Blockchain transactions require gas - a small fee for processing operations. Gas is also needed on the testnet, but it's given out for free through special faucets.

Go to the Google Web3 Faucet and request test ETH to your wallet address:

One request is enough - it will cover all actions within our test. Check the updated SepoliaETH balance on the MetaMask main screen.

Step 5 - Get test USDT for the app

MUSDT is used to pay for services inside mhnt.app - a test stablecoin on the Sepolia network. It can also be obtained for free.

Open the Claim Test USD page in the mhnt.app:

  1. Click Connect and connect your MetaMask wallet.
  2. Click Claim 1000 MUSDT and confirm the transaction in MetaMask.

1000 test MUSDT will be credited to your wallet.

Step 6 - Add MUSDT to MetaMask

To see the balance in your wallet:

  1. Open the MetaMask extension
  2. Make sure the Sepolia network is selected
  3. Bottom right, next to the selected network, click the three dots → Import tokens
  4. Enter the MUSDT contract address:
  5. The other fields will fill automatically. Confirm the TestUSDT import.

MUSDT should appear in the token list with a balance of 1000.

Great - you're ready!

Step 7 - Register in mhnt.app

  1. Visit the guides page to explore the product guidelines
  2. Click the Platform button to enter the app, or open it directly at mhnt.app
  3. Register via email
  4. After logging in, change your role to Scout in the profile settings or via the onboarding popup

Step 8 - Connect your wallet address

  1. Open Account Settings → Scouting Wallet
  1. Connect your MetaMask wallet and register your address in the mhnt app.

Step 9 - Top up your Karma balance

  1. In the "Current connected wallet" field, click "Connect"
  2. In the "Scouting wallet address" field, click "Set"
  3. Go to the "Karma points" tab, then click "Activate"
  4. "Approve" — allows the app to spend the approved amount of MUSDT.
  5. "Activate" — to credit Karma

Scouts with karma > 0 can list their models on the platform. Karma is only deducted when a scout receives a penalty for listing a model that doesn't meet platform requirements - this prevents low-quality listings and spam.
